Josh is a Senior Fellow in the Data Analytics team at the Health Foundation – an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. Josh’s interests focus around the role of data and data-driven technology in delivering benefits for health and care in the UK – this includes considering the role of new models of stewardship for health and care data in delivering this positive benefit.

Prior to joining the Health Foundation, Josh spent nine years in Ipsos MORI’s Social Research Institute. As a Director in the health and social care research team he led policy evaluations of health and care interventions, including digital-first primary care. Josh was also Innovation Lead, responsible for ensuring innovative technological developments were harnessed to their best effect, and in an ethical way, in delivering social research projects.
