About

Daniel was first elected to Parliament as MP for Cambridge in May 2015. He served on the Opposition frontbench as Shadow Transport Minister from September 2015 – June 2017, and is now a member of the Transport Select Committee. Throughout his time in Parliament, he has been an executive member of Labour’s national environmental campaigning group, SERA. Daniel founded and chairs the All Party Parliamentary Group on Data Analytics, and is chair of the All Party Parliamentary Groups for Life Sciences, Vice Chair of the APPG for Mental Health and for Medical Research amongst others. Daniel has a History degree from the University of Cambridge, and has worked in both the public and private sectors.
